Looking for hotels in Page, AZ? Choice Hotels offer convenient and affordable options in Page. Book your stay today!
Nestled on Manson Mesa in the beautiful northern Arizona region, the small town of Page oversees the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Lake Powell. Surrounded by the recreation area on the west and north and the Navajo Nation on the east and south, it’s central to recreational and historical quests. The high desert environment brings summer temperatures near 100 degrees, while winter months are almost below freezing. And when booking a room at one of the Choice Hotels in Page, you can feel at home in relaxing rooms with a wide variety of amenities. Start by getting out on the water with a rental from Aramark Parks and Destinations – the park concession. Hang out on the water for a couple days in a houseboat big enough for your whole family, or push up waves on a Jet Ski. Do some fishing for walleye, catfish and bass, but know where you’re fishing; Utah and Arizona share the lake and guidelines are state regulated. Take a fantastic tour to Rainbow Bridge National Monument, and then go hiking to view the natural bridge. Learn all about the man Lake Powell is named after by visiting the John Wesley Powell Memorial Museum. The journey starts outside with a model of the long boat Major Powell used when venturing the Colorado River in 1869. The shows trace the history of the area’s first inhabitants, Powell’s expeditions and building of the Glen Canyon Dam. The museum is open most days, and entrance fee is based on age. The Carl Hayden Visitor Center on the Utah side of the Colorado River going west of town is a contact station for the Glen Canyon Dam and recreation region. The Glen Canyon Natural History Association does tours of the dam for a small fee daily, with extended hours and extra tours during the warmer months. And, because this is a working dam, all guests must pass through security, meaning no food, weapons or large bags are permitted. With multiple hotels in Page, AZ and the surrounding areas, you can find the Choice hotel that meets your travel expectations. Enjoy our warm hospitality, friendly service and great value.
