Econo Lodge Akron Copley Northwest

While you’re here, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep you busy. If you’d like to spend some time in nature, you can take the short walk along the Worden’s Ledges Trail. This less than a mile walk takes you through the scenic woods near the former estate of Hiram Worder. Worder’s son-in-law carved stone faces in the sides of the cliffs. Take the full walk where you can see an image of George Washington, a pirate ship and much more. Akron is also well-known as the home base of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. You can visit local historic sites such as the home of co-founder F.A. Seiberling. Now known as the Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, the area is open to the public part of the year and visitors can take a tour of the 65-room mansion.
