With family recipes spanning over 50 years, Whistler’s Chocolate Company and Cafe is Western Australia's oldest chocolate company - and it’s not hard to see why. Home to skilfully crafted chocolate sculptures (and the world’s largest chocolate quokka!) as well as old school honeycomb and peanut brittle, coconut rough, chocolate liquorice, this is a top stop for young and old. Relax in the inviting garden and cafe while you’re here. 

For some incredible small-batch artisan chocolates, Sue Lewis Chocolatier is an international name known for blending ethically-sourced chocolate with local, seasonal and organic produce. The signature truffle concoctions are a highlight, covering a range of incredible flavours from saltbush caramel to lemon myrtle and raspberry strawberry gum. A definite tick of approval.

Opening its doors in 1915, Haigh’s Chocolate Factory is Australia's oldest family-owned chocolate maker and a must-do for any Adelaide outing. The home of intricately crafted chocolate and intricate Belgian-styled ‘petit gateaux’ (literally meaning little cakes) Steven Ter Horst Chocolatier deserves the title of artist. The shop features a rustic atmosphere with signature treats such as the Basque cheesecake, salted caramel tart and caramel smoked in a wood oven.
