*Choice Privileges members may transfer points between their Member Account and another Choice Privileges Member Account at no cost. Transfer is only available via the Choice Privileges website (ChoicePrivileges.com). Transfer is not available over the phone through the Program Line.

To transfer points, individuals must be a member in good standing with the Program. Both the sender and the recipient’s Choice Privileges accounts must be open for a minimum of 30 days and active at the time of transfer. To transfer points, the sender must have a minimum of 5,000 points in their account. The sender must be logged into their online account to initiate the transfer. By enrolling in Choice Privileges, members agree to receive points that may be transferred to their account in accordance with the program rules.

To transfer points, the sender must enter the recipient’s account information, including the recipient’s Member Number, email address, first, and last name exactly as listed on the recipient's account.

Members may transfer a minimum of 5,000 points and a maximum of 100,000 points per transfer. Point transfers can only be made in increments of 1,000 points.

Members may transfer up to a total of 200,000 points per calendar year to other member’s accounts. A single Member Account may only receive up to a maximum of 100,000 points per calendar year.

The sending or receiving of transferred points is not considered a Qualifying Activity and therefore does not impact a member’s point forfeiture date, Elite Status progression, or Milestone Rewards progression. If points are transferred into an account before the account’s point forfeiture date, these points will be forfeit if the recipient does not complete a separate Qualifying Activity before their point forfeiture date.

There is currently no cost associated with use of the transfer of points process but Choice reserves the right to implement a fee at any time. The transfer process only permits you to transfer points between your own Choice Privileges and another individual Choice Privileges account.

Assuming the transfer request is approved, points will generally be deposited into the receiving account within 48 hours after you submit the transfer request.

You agree not to use the transfer process in any manner that is illegal, fraudulent, false, misleading, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate or objectionable and you agree that all such determinations will be made by Choice in its sole discretion. Choice reserves the right, on its own or through its designee, to refuse or suspend any transfer request, or recover transferred points, or take other appropriate action in the event of any actual or suspected non-compliance with these Terms; in order to address any transfers associated with or derived from prohibited, fraudulent, or improper activity; or to otherwise facilitate the proper functioning of the transfer process and the Program.
