*MainStay Suites Pet Policy
This Pet Welcome Agreement outlines the terms and conditions that residents must agree to and abide by during their stay at MainStay Suites. Please note the applicable ‘Pet Fee’ will not apply for guide dogs or any other assistance animals.

• The terms and conditions set forth in this Pet Welcome Agreement as follows:

• A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the resident’s account upon arrival. This fee facilitates professional cleaning post-stay, ensuring the residence is meticulously cleaned to meet MainStay Suites’ requirements. The applicable pet fee is as follows: i. $100.00 AUD (incl of GST) for stays ranging from 1 to 6 nights (inclusive); and ii. $350.00 AUD (incl of GST) for stays of 7 or more nights. 

• The resident is required to maintain a valid credit card for the duration of their reservation. 

• The resident agrees to make the residence available to staff, including but not limited to, the Housekeeping and Maintenance team of MainStay Suites.

•  The resident is solely responsible for any damages caused by their pet to the residence, furnishings, or any other part of the property. 

• The resident’s account will be charged to cover the cost of restoration/rectification of any such damages, including but not limited to, replacement of furnishings and additional cleaning fees. 

• The resident’s pet must be on a controlled leash when on property grounds or traversing the property at any time (except for within the residence).

• The resident is responsible for cleaning up after their pet and properly disposing of any waste. 

• The resident must provide all necessary amenities for their pet including bedding, food, and water bowl. 

• The residence is subject to damage inspections at any time during the resident’s stay and upon checkout. The resident is welcome to attend these inspections. 

• Noise/disruptive complaints: Should the General Manager of the property receive two (2) or more complaints regarding noise or disruption attributed to the resident’s pet, alternative arrangements must be made for the resident’s pet. For the avoidance of doubt, the non-refundable pet fee will not be refunded post-admittance of the resident’s pet into the residence.

Pets are prohibited on any human bedding, sofa beds or couches within the residence.
The resident further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless each of MainStay Suites and their respective owners and operators from all losses, claims, costs, and expenses whatsoever Pet Welcome Agreement MainStay Suites Pet Welcome Agreement ACR-FOS18.1 2 and howsoever arising to MainStay Suites because of the resident’s pet or the resident’s breach of the above terms and conditions.
Please note that these terms and conditions are established to safeguard the interests of all parties involved, including other residents at the property.
