Alannah & Madeline Foundation

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to keeping children and young people free from violence and trauma wherever they live, learn and play.

Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand

Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand (CFNZ) supports Kiwis diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis to live a life unlimited. Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life-threatening genetic disorder affecting children in New Zealand, and CFNZ is the only charity in New Zealand dedicated to supporting and improving the quality of life for people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac proudly supports the Alannah & Madeline Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand through various fundraising initiatives, including our annual Check-in for Charity Week. Beyond raising funds, our team actively volunteers their time to pack Buddy Bags for the Alannah and Madeline Foundation - specially curated backpacks designed to provide vulnerable children across Australia with essential personal care and comfort items when they need them most.

Trees that Count

Trees That Count is a conservation charity on a mission to plant 200 million native trees across New Zealand. Planting native trees is one of the most powerful ways to combat climate change and protect New Zealand’s beautiful landscapes, waterways and forests for future generations. Every single tree counts and donations and support are matched with planters throughout the country who are restoring, and growing, precious wildlife corridors or pockets of native forest, turning small projects into mighty ones.

Australian Red Cross

The Australian Red Cross is a leading humanitarian organisation and a member of the International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, which has millions of members and volunteers operating in 191 countries. The organisation mobilises the power of humanity to reduce human suffering by connecting people in need of support to those with the means to support, whether it’s providing emergency and disaster response, blood donation programs, or other humanitarian assistance. The Red Cross community acts locally and connects globally to deliver what’s needed, when it’s needed most.

Choice Privileges members are able to support Trees that Count and the Australian Red Cross by redeeming their Choice Privileges points for donations to these not for profit organisations.

Paid Volunteer Days

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac provide head office staff two paid volunteer days each year to give back to the community. Whether it’s supporting a food drive, lending a hand at a sporting event, or helping out with school activities, our team is passionate about contributing to causes that matter. are committed to giving back – all thanks to our paid volunteer release lease program. It’s all part of our commitment to creating positive change through our Paid Volunteer Days program.
